02 Feb San Jose Photographer | Romantic Marsala Fall Wedding Inspiration | Dutch Masters
Finally! I can share this romantic marsala fall wedding styled shoot! Inspired by the moody, dark lighting of dutch master painters (Rembrandt, anyone?) and eager to create something, I was excited to partner with Cynthia of Creative Flow Co. , who not only dyed the linens and did all the calligraphy, but worked hard to plan, coordinate and bring it all to fruition. We worked with some amazing professionals – Pageo Lavender Farm lent us their delightful rustic space, and Arlene from Violetta flowers pulled out all the stops with her incredible floral work. Merrianna was gorgeous in a romantic Ju.Lee Chic gown, with hair and makeup by Stephanie from Beauty by Steph. The tablescape was completed with a lovely (and delish!) cake from Creative Cakes by Debra, and rentals from Trunks and Tales and Pleasanton Party Rentals. To create that old world look, I painted over 40 wine bottles for candle holders :). This was such a labor of love, and I am just tickled with how it turned out! Also am super excited that it was published in the 2016 Bay Area Magazine, Today’s Bride. It is such a thrill to see our work in print :D. And so, without further ado, here’s some moody, gothic, romantic fall wedding eye candy.
