This engagement shoot in Morgan Hill was full of personal touches for Mariana and Kristo. They opted to do their session on Kristo’s family’s property which will one day be passed down to him. We got to tour part of the property and even hike up a hill with an amazing overlook. After that we drove down to Calero Reservoir. Kristo brought his dad’s truck and amazing vintage boat, and we all went out on the water. They had their first kiss on this boat, and it’s where Kristo proposed, so I am so glad they decided to do their shoot with it! How sweet to have those memories :). I’ve never done any boating out there but I’ve decided I should really start. Mariana’s brother was kind enough to hang there on his own boat so I could go out into the water with him and shoot Mariana and Kristo on their boat. It was such a gorgeous day out, and we had fun cruising around on the water. There were some technical maneuvers involved to get the perfect couple+scenery+light arrangement, but it was so worth it in the end. Thanks so much for taking me out on my first Morgan Hill boating trip, guys! And for generally being awesome :D. And now, the pretty!
