Kaitlin and Josh met when they were both students at UCSD. They are the classic friends-who-fell-in-love story :). Once they figured it out, they haven’t been apart since. Fast forward several years and degrees, and they are tying the knot next year in San Diego! I met Kaitlin when I was photographing her best friend’s wedding last fall, and I am so stoked they picked me to photograph theirs! My family lives in San Diego, so it worked out really well for us to meet up for their engagement shoot while I was down there visiting the folks. Kaitlin and Josh enjoy the outdoors and hiking, and since they spend a lot of time in La Jolla, Torrey Pines Natural Reserve was a great choice. While we didn’t get the golden sunset we were hoping for, we were lucky enough to catch some of the remnants of this year’s super bloom while there! I had a blast hanging out with them and getting to know them a bit better. Enough talk, time for some pictures :D.
